Moxi Brake Petals
Allow us to introduce the first-ever toe stop made byĀ Moxi Roller Skates, theĀ Brake Petals. After finding the longest lasting material to burn down hills,Ā MoxiĀ decided to take the toe stop and make it cute!
The stems are anodised green and shorter than standard length toe stops so they can be cranked all the way up for slamming on the brakes! These stops have no unintentional drag or slide and will stop on a dime if you're precise enough.
As with all of their products,Ā MoxiĀ aims for the highest-quality on the market.Ā MoxiĀ testers claim that theĀ Brake PetalsĀ have lasted them through full seasons and promise surprise and delight when it comes to durability. Custom shaped for cuteness, occasionally rotate these toe stops so they wear down evenly.

BOLT-ON:
These are often found on entry level skates like Impala. They have 1 bolt that goes through the front of the toestop and you use a little screwdriver to tighten it on. These are not adjustable. If you are looking at the bottom of them, they have a hole in them and the bolt goes through from this hole into the plates. All of our bolt-on toestops are labelled as thus.
SCREW IN/ADJUSTABLE:
These ones are used with plates that use a nut and washer to hold the toestop in place or an allen key tightening system on higher end plates. These toestops usually have a metal stem that is attched to the base of the toestop. You screw the thick stem of the toestop directly into the plates. Skates like Rookie Artistics, Moxi, Moonlights, etc use these.Ā

ļ»æMost skate plates take Imperial toestop threads. Roll-Line plates use metric as do Moxi Rainbow Rider for some inexplicable reason. The only metric toestops we have are the Roll-Line ambra or hockey ones.
